John Lionel Rogers, 58, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025. Born on August 24, 1966, in Massachusetts, John was the beloved son of Norman Lionel Rogers and Carolyn Jean (Denoncour) Rogers.

John dedicated his career to helping others stay safe. As a security instructor, he took pride in teaching and preparing others with the knowledge and confidence they needed to protect and serve. He was deeply respected for his professionalism, patience, and commitment to those he mentored.

Known for his straightforward nature and quiet sense of humor, John was someone who could be counted on—whether for advice, a good story, or a helping hand. He valued honesty, loyalty, and hard work, and he lived those values every day.

John’s memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved him. His life left a mark on many, and his absence will be deeply felt.
